MAStermind Issue 6 by Marie-Amélie Sauvé

$65.00

Marie-Amélie Sauvé explores concepts of home and belonging throughout the sixth edition of MAStermind. Sauvé’s introduction suggests that “home isn’t defined by a certain place or postcode, but by a more abstract notion of belonging”. Her theory is borne out by diverse subjects ranging from French cinema icon, Isabelle Adjani, to Japanese architect and photographer, Hiroshi Sugimoto. Stories of Syrian war refugees, Sweden’s progressive politics, the ocean town of Biarritz and Liya Kebede’s philanthropy chart what Sauvé calls “a union of voices and perspectives from around the world blending to create something beautiful”. Contributors include Craig McDean, Stef Mitchell, Mia Farrow, Willow and Jaden Smith, Robyn, Noomi Rapace and Bernard-Henri Lévy, among many others.
